Some of you may know that I plan on doing Japan Crate box openings once every month on my Youtube channel. For those who don’t know what Japan Crate is, it’s basically a subscription service where they mail you a box full of random Japanese snacks once a month. It’s a fun way to get introduced or discover new snacks.
Just a little while ago I was contacted by a new subscription service that goes by the name of “BOKKSU” (the Japanese pronunciation for “box”). They differentiate themselves by being a “premium snack box that hand picks snacks people in Japan actually eat and sources them directly from Japan”. My first box, which was their January 2017 box, is one I can definitely say that I enjoyed the most out of any other Japanese snack box I’ve experienced. Maybe it was because the contents in it happened to be mostly things I ended up really liking personally so it might have been luck but I’ll add that each snack felt more like “actual food”, for lack of better word, than the snacks chosen in Japan Crate boxes.
You can see my box opening of it in the following Youtube video:
The owner liked how I did the video so I’ll be receiving next month’s BOKKSU as well! He said it will be Valentine’s Day themed so I’m extra excited for it ^_^. I definitely plan on doing a video of every month’s BOKKSU opening from here on out so I hope you guys look forward to that. Subscribe to my Youtube channel if you haven’t already and don’t forget about making sure that bell icon is toggled to keep you alerted for new videos too.
Lastly, he was generous enough to let me share a 10% discount code for all my viewers. Simply enter LANARAIN10 as a coupon code when you pay for your subscription and receive 10% off. I really want this new snack service to become really successful so if you like Japanese snacks or want a fun and affordable way to be introduced to random Japanese food every month, please go out and help support them by buying trying out a subscription! You can cancel anytime too!
